The Evans Family (Yes, Again!)

I know, I know… these people have appeared all over my website and my blog for years. I should really stop posting so many of their pictures (or maybe buy a new domain exclusively for their pictures). But, come on! Just look at them! They’re ridiculously adorable. They’re amazing to work with. And each year I get the joy of seeing these handsome boys grow up, surrounded by the love of their incredible parents.

The Hawman Family

It’s always a pleasure working with the Hawman family! Our first session took place several years ago when Anson was a couple months shy of being born, and now he’s nearly as tall as I am. Which sounds like I’ve been photographing them for a decade or so, but that’s not the case. And that’s a bit of an exaggeration anyway. He’s just really tall for a youngster and I’m really short for an old-ster.

Melody

I loved doing this shoot with Melody, who is celebrating her senior year of high school. She is a joyful, energetic young woman who was a lot of fun to work with and was just as excited as I was to take some fun pictures. You see, I tend to geek out a bit when I find new places for portraits – like old metal row boats in a perfectly still pond. I don’t always know if my clients will appreciate the awesomeness as much as I do. But Melody did.

Sing it with me now, “I’m on a boat!”
